HAIR & MAKE UP ARTIST
Christina Lola, owner and creator of The Lola Look, is a licensed hair and make-up specialist with eighteen years of professional experience in New York City and the greater New York area.
Lola studied and received her cosmetology license at Carstein University and studied advance makeup skills at MUD – Makeup Designory. Lola's hands on experience includes years of tutelage followed by leadership at Gemini Salon in the West Village. During her tenure she became sought-after for specialty services including hair color, hair extensions, and wedding day looks. In such high demand, she made the exciting decision to open her own salon with the Lola name.
Lola specializes in Runway, TV, Film, Fashion Photography, Weddings, Special Effects, and everyday beauty. A highlight of her academic career was an intensive workshop with famous Special Effects powerhouse: Michele Mulkey.
Another highlight, a bit closer to her heart, was when her mother raved about her work, showing off her lashes, lids, and lips at a family dinner party, Lola was five. Her calling was clear at a very young and Lola is now proud and thrilled to bring her bevy of beauty knowledge to you!
